Playtika's Solitaire Grand Harvest

Playtika were looking for a cohesive brand for Solitaire Grand Harvest; a well-loved mobile game based on the classic Solitaire card game and set on a farm with a range of fun characters. We gave them an emotive brand story, confident logo, 3D icons and visual language to help push them towards their goals of being one of the top casual games.

Brand Strategy


Playtika came to us with the brand essence ‘My place to grow’; Solitaire Grand Harvest is a peaceful place where everyone can get a daily dose of personal growth. They had already explored character tone of voice and brand values.
We felt that what they needed was a new brand story which brought all of this together to create a personal connection with the characters and the game.

We introduced a farmtastic new logo, while leveraging the recognition and legacy of the existing logo shape.First we took the curved shape with extended first and last letters but gave more emphasis to Solitaire. Then we introduced bolder fonts and a wooden holding device to give more power to the final logo, inspired by wooden signs on farms. Finally we added extra details of cards and the harvest swoosh which work really nicely in motion.We created multiple versions of the logo, both in vector form and 3D to use in different situations where necessary.

We also developed a new visual language based on traditional wooden farm signage, but with a colorful and playful twist to fit the ecosystem of casual gaming.
